EDIT: Also, it is normal for there to be some "sit in" in a suspension (meaning it will sink a bit when you load up the cart) but if you feel that the sit in is excessive on your front end I would contact Jakes and see what they say is normal. If you watch the suspension work and it is not rebounding after absorbing impacts I would check your shocks and make sure they are funtioning properly and not in need of repair/replacement. If the suspension seems to all be in order you can follow my original post below to adjust Camber.

I don't know exactly how the Jakes lift looks but I think it is pretty similar to the All Sports A-arm lift which I have. If it is designed the same as the All Sports lift you do have some camber adjustment, which is what you need to get your tires the way you want them.

If you look in my attached picture you can see where the A-arms meet the top and bottom of the spindle. They are held onto the spindle by a heim joint and the heim joint is threaded into the A-arm. There is a not located on the threaded heim joint that acts as a lock not to keep the joint locked into the A-arm.

You will have to unto the heim from the spindle and spin it out a bit to push the mounting point of the a-arm and the spindle out farther from the centerline of the cart. By pushing that point out you will start to stand the tire more upright and eliminate some of the camber. Conversely you could aslo pull the lower heim in a bit to also stand the tire up a bit. I would work the top and bottom in conjunction with each other (meaning to compensate for two inches pull the bottom in one inch and push the top out one inch) if possible.

The a-arm style suspension from Yamaha on the G2-G19 are made similar to a Volkswagen. You can not set the front end alignment like a normal strut style suspension cart. What you have to do is have someone drive the cart towards you approximately 30 feet. You will notice when the cart was sitting still the suspension looked completely different from when it is being driven. Loosen the jam nuts on the tie rods and make the proper adjustments on the tie rods according to what you saw when the cart was being driven. Have them drive towards you again to check the new alignment of the front end. It might take you 2 or 3 adjustments until you get it correct. When correct the toe should be 1/8-1/4" in. Remember to tighten the jam nuts on the tie rods when done. Hope this helps.

i had the same problem on my yamaha and their is just nothing you can do its one of those things on the g16 jake lift kit you drive it and the camber goes negative and then you stop and pickup on the front and its straight again , i was going to try different shocks on the front but ended up selling the cart
