Did you guys add longer brake cables when you lifted?
Club on a 6" Allsports longtravel with 22" tires.
The cables reach fine but look more exposed than they should be. I'm concerned about them hanging on palmettos and what-not. If replacement is recommended, do you know what length off-hand? Thanks, Mike ETA: OEM brakes. |

I have pretty much the exact same set up. Stock brake cables. No issues.

You may need to move the cable out of the hanger bracket. I have the same lift and did not need longer cables.

Re: Did you guys add longer brake cables when you lifted?
On my old cart I had 9.5 inches of lift on 26's and I had to buy a cable relocation bracket. It just lowered the cables about 2 inches and provided the necessary slack so that they weren't so tight. My cart was a ezgo txt.

Thanks guys. I guess I will leave them alone for now. If I hang one, it will give me an excuse to upgrade all around.

Re: Did you guys add longer brake cables when you lifted?
I zip tied mine to some already existing pre-drilled holes on the side of my engine plate >>after noticing that both cables were rubbing on the inside of my rear tires!

i stretched my cart 3 inches front and 2 in the rear and still used stock cables barely..
