Default need a little advice.marathon rear coil over setup

hey there to all,my 4 stroke swaped marathon is about to under go another conversion that being a dual 6" a-arm front lift suspension setup. the issue i have a 4inch lift as of now (block lift ebay) with monroe shocks in the rear stock coil spring. what im wanting to do is get rid of the squeaky coil springs and black in the rear and replace them with these.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-POLARIS...b523cc&vxp=mtr . ive seen a few other fellow memebers use them in there build . i like the idea of them being adjustable. what im worried about is do you think theyll be able to handle the weight of a rear flip seat?.

if not what other ideas have you guys came up with as far as coil overs go.

You won't know if it can handle the rear seat unless you can find the specs on the springs. I installed a set of coilovers on the back of my marathon, but I also left the original coil springs on the cart. The payload and stability has increased alot.

i have that setup already and it bottems on bumps or hills with me and friend on . so i know once i get a rear seat its going to bottem out forsure. talked to another guy on the forums about using ltz400 shocks. but well see i think if i keep the front shock which for me is a monroe mini truck shock and use the ltz or predator coil over it might work..

Your coilovers must have weaker springs than mine. Mine has never bottomed out even with 2-200# adults up front, and 2 teens riding side-saddle in the back.

Not sure exactly. I bought them new on ebay. They are generic coilovers for atvs. Very heavy spring. The ones I put on the back of my G1 were made for VW dunebuggy suspension.

I have thought about putting small air bags on mine.

I'm using Suzuki atv LTZ400 (fronts). My cart is a Yamaha, but I'm running two of these coilovers with no other springs, it has never bottomed out. I don't know what length you need, but these are in the 17" range eye to eye.

What size coil overs do you need? What length?

I also have in my possession a set of Harley Davidson airbag shocks. I saw a thread here where a guy used these on his EZGO and it softened the ride up for most scenarios, then when he needs more capacity he just airs them up.
