Default marathon drop axle vs. txt

1993 marathon jakes 4" drop axle front lift vs. jakes 6" txt drop axle

from the looks of it the only difference seems to be the leaf spring mounts correct me if im wrong.because all the ez go's use the same hubs. with different spindles. sooo my question was i really want to get a 6" lift on the marathon one way or another. i dont mind buy the 6'' drop axle if the lenghts are across the axle are similar, all i would have to do would be fab new leaf spring mounts and maybe mess with the shock mounts.. if the lenghts are the same across then im gonna buy one and do it.

Need some input though first though.

They do make them. look at all sports site and you will see them pictured in the workhorse 1200 lift. I have bought separate parts from Steve there, wouldn't hurt to call.

Did you ever consider the 4" marathon lift and adding 2" blocks on the rear of the front springs to lift the body? or on top the axle under the springs? or 1" on both ends of the springs? might still need the extensions though.

I have made blocks out of 1/8" wall square tubing, with holes drilled in the ends to except the bolts that go through the springs.

BTW, I think all dropped axles are going to be 3" or so wider than stock axles.
