Default Looking to lift my '09 MPT 1200 with Jakes 7226

Looking at the different lift kits with bad pictures and hard to find intructions. I'm now looking into a Jake's 7226 lift for my cart.
The pic shows my stock rear end setup with a bump stop and bracket that appears to be welded on top of the axle.
Can anybody confirm that the cast blocks in this kit fit over the bump stop bracket on my MPT 1200? It has the Kawasaki engine.
Thanks, Dave

Check with Stovebolt. I went to him several times when needing help. Here's his thread, it may not be the same model but it may be similar.

I've been in touch with Jake's to make sure it fits my rear because I'm looking at whole kit with tires from them, answers are kinda vague but I deduce that it it should fit over the bump stop bracket once you unscrew the rubber stop. No mention at all of the re-installation of the bump stop after the flip, will have to mod something I assume. I have no problem bending up and welding something but for the price you would think this would all be covered..

I didn't install the bump stops on my cart yet either. I will have to figure out how to install them now.

I do see in picture 2 that he mentions a pin on the front of the axle, never seen one on the front of an axle, could it be that bump stop bracket is pinned on?

He also don't mention unbolting and bolting the steering rack back on the front axle.

Now I have it figured out. Looking from the back I assumed the bump stop bracket was welded to the axle. Its not, the pin on the front of the axle helps locate the bracket. I hadn't looked at it from the front yet.. Stovebolt mentioning that pin made me think to look at it again so now I see how everything clears. Now I'll just have to make up something to reinstall the bumpstop around the same clearance as stock.

SB- I wasn't sure if you had experience with this model or not. But I know you helped me out on more than one occasion with ideas so I figured you may be able to help him out also.

I'm waiting on a second price quote to see if I'm purchasing through Jake's or from a local dealer. Should be next day or two. Once ordered I'll try my best to load up on pics because I don't see much later model info on here. Try to help out and build the library for people in the future.
Now if I can find some hop up info on my 13hp that's more than 'tighten throttle cable'..

As far as the hop up, I would wait until you get the larger wheels on, makes quite a difference with speed. What have you decided on wheels and tires Dave?
