Default Tie Rod threads

So after i put the lift in my Yamaha g22, i needed to adjust the toe. Problem is I have very little thread left connecting tierod to tie rod end. The wheels are straight, but I dont feel good about it. Can I take the steering wheel off and reposition to a new center and go from there? or is there a better route to go?
