Biggest tire for spindle lift
I've been searching through several threads and noticed there are quite a few people running 25s with a 5 or 6" spindle lift. Most of the threads didn't state if they had to modify the lift to fit the tires. I have a set of 25" tires that I got for really cheap and it would be nice to be able to use them. I know I could just put blocks on the leaf springs to get extra inches but the cart is an 04 MPT with the new steering and I haven't figured out a way to extend the steering to still bolt to the spindle. So i'm hoping others who have fit 25s on a spindle lift, thanks.

My 25s fit on mine fairly easy but I am running a drop axle but Fwiw I heard that they will fit better on a spindle lift because it pushes the tires gorward a little

Re: Biggest tire for spindle lift
I have yet to come across a cart lift that doesn't push the tires forward. I think they all do. I have a 6" lift and 22s, but I'll bet I could stuff 25s under there. I would think that the main issue you would run into would not be clearing the fenders, but clearing the suspension/chassis from the inner sidewall rubbing. Depending on the width of the tires you may need to run a wheel spacer to widen your track and clear anything that may rub your inner sidewall. But you should be able to run them I would think.

Re: Biggest tire for spindle lift
The front tires are 25x8x12. But I don't want to stuff the tires in there. Granted I won't be doing much, if any off roading with the cart but it will be used for work around our property. And then there's the fact I will be selling it so I don't want the next owner to run into issues or to deter people from buying it because the tires are too big. So am I right to assume that if I put a 1 or 1.5" spacer on the front, I would need about a 3" spacer on the rear to have all the tires at the same width?

I know that the spindle lift increases track width I'm not sure but I don't think that the drop axle does bc my tires sit pretty even I have 25/8/12 all the way around on 7" wide wheels with a 3/4 backspace and I am in no danger of hitting any suspension/ brake pedal parts on mine
