Default All Sports Long travel lift. 25" tires

Well I ordered the All Sports long travel kit it is being built now. I plan on running 25" bighorn style tires. I have a 2000 Club Car DS. I plan on getting the clutch machined and severe duty belt, spring and getting the k&n air filter, jet kit, and the advance key.

Got a few questions. Are the 25x10-12 tires going to be too much for my stock fe290? Should I run 25x8-12 in front or stick with the 10's all around. And if I do go 25" im sure i will need to raise the front a bit with the adjustable shocks, will I need to get larger blocks for the rear than what comes with the lift?

Thanks in advance.

The power on your engine will be adequate for most riding situations, provided it's in good condition. Don't expect it to feel the same after the lift though. It's gonna take a hit in the torque department. Big hills also may be a problem, as would towing heavy stuff.

With the tires, I actually like the skinnier fronts. Two reasons: 1. it looks more like a dune buggy/atv 2. it actually steers and handles better and weighs less

The 25's are on the big side, but as long as you like the look of them you'll be ok. The clutch kit and new belt will go a long way to keeping it drivable.

i dont have the long travel, but i do have 7.5 super sport lift, with 25x12x10 tires, cart works fine the hd belt helps alot, my motor is all stock with the exception of a zip tie, an a unplugged wire. hits 30 mph in short bursts all the time, i did how ever, use 3" wheel spacers on the back, and 2" wheel spacers on the front........ and put a set of disc brakes on the rear to slow her down better.......your friends will be jealous for sure

Thanks yall. I did forget to say my govenor has been disabled. May help a bit. I have a dynatech adjustable revlimiter i am working on trying to get hooked up so i dont have to rely on the tach. But having issues findin a tach signal. What setting did you set your equus tach at PCC??? Was it 1 cylinder or 2??? I have the tach and have had some trouble making it work all the time. Seems to loose signal and jump around a bit.

I see in your signature that you have heavy duty rear springs was that enough to lift the rear? I want to lift the rear of mine a couple inches or so.

I have the all sport long Travel and it is awesome!!! I also
Have 10 inch wide rims all the way around and have no issues . I think the rims are 3 back spacing and 5 inch dish on front. I do have the severe duty belt and I do 23-26 regularly . I just got my machined clutch and spring but have not installed yet. Let me know If u need any pics or have any questions on the install. On a side note I want a tach that is back lit so I can see at night does anyone make one?
