Default I need some feedback on a company

Hello all, I've been looking at some products like a rear seat conversion, wheels, and a lift kit, especially a lift kit, from a company called Steeleng. Has anyone had any experience with their products? I need to find out soon as I'm on the verge of purchasing a lift kit.

Have you checked the site sponsors here. They usually give forum members a deal

How much of a discount do they give? The steeleng lift kits are under $200 if I remember right. They look a lot like the jake's kits but...

Thanks Tonka. Yes, please consider our sponsors. We wouldn't be here without them. Also remember, you get what you pay for.

I'm getting all of my electronic stuff from scottieb, but my budget can only stretch so far. What kills me is the shipping costs. I'm used to ordering parts for my mustang I used to have and getting free shipping on everything. I looked up what it would cost me to ship a jakes kit from a non-sponser (haven't had a chance to check the sponsors yet) and it would cost me about $40! My jaw dropped to the floor and has yet to come up to its normal upright position.

How is it compared to other kits you've seen? I was considering making my own rear seat again but buying one would be so much easier.

IMHO, if you buy a kit for $200, I would take it to a welding shop for some bracing. The cheap "overseas" kits collapse under cart weight. They use the cheapest metal possible to save costs but hey, it's up to you...

That's a good point. I noticed that the cheaper kit was missing some extra bracing. I would beef it up some if I got it though. When you stop and think about it they are all "overseas" kits, it's just one is more expensive then the other.
