Default NIB All Sport Spindle lift rusted spindles

I justed ordered a all sport 6" lift for my gas ezgo txt, and the spindles shafts are rusted. Is this common? The lift was priced well compared to anything else I found online but rust on a brand new part does not make since.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Not a common problem, but the rust should be very light, and easily cleaned off with a piece of emery cloth,, if not then may I suggest you contact the seller.

Thanks I like your avatar. I will contact Amazon and see if they offer a discount or credit.

My Jake's 6" A-Arm kit was packaged with parts that either came from different workers at the manufacturing plant, or?

The internal threads for half (one side) of the kit were clean and oiled. One spindle shaft was clean and oiled.

The other half had shavings in the threads, had a lousy tap create the threads, and no oil. One spindle shaft had a glaze of rust and no oil.

I believe I'm OK after cleaning everything, but it's odd that the kit was packaged that way.

Though I already said it, the instructions are horrible. And Jake's website and Youtube site do not have video's or pdf's for the Precedent installation of the A-Arm kit.

It still looks boss, though! With the 23's, I only have a couple of inches of clearance to get it out of the garage!

I'd have it powder coated.

The Jakes Long Travel kit came with a chromed lil front bumper. I don't want the blingy, shiny reflecting stuff on the cart since it's used for hunting and around the ranch. Had it powder coated black and didn't even do anything to the chrome beforehand.

Powder coating can take lots of abuse. You can get a kit at Harbor Freight, and that size part should fit in the oven. Just don't let the wife find out ya did it.
