My Project Club Car DS Lifted
Here are a few pictures of my project. I forgot to take before pictures from the start. This cart was broken no suspension and a blown motor when I bought it. I have taken this thing threw so much over downed tress threw mud up 6' hills and more. It goes threw most everything. Such an awesome machine. I thought I would share my build. Just got my cage fabed up. I have more to do but this is were I am at. I do have a few questions for some of you that may be able to help.
My shifter linkage on the rear end did not survive has anyone had trouble with it breaking? Also when it was working it had a lot of flex to me. I think it should be made of steel. If you have fill me in :) Next question would be charging system. I put the duromax motor swap in. I was wondering how this will do on the 12v battery when headlights and tail kit are put in, I have purchased the LED to save some power. I also plan on putting some KC lights on my cage. If you have any knowledge to help me on this that would be great or I will find out the hard way of course. |

Really nice looking cart. Those engines don't charge a whole lot, I think it was like 3amps but I may be wrong. If you want to run KC lights, it may be best to have a remote battery that can be charged by a plug in charger.

My 2 cents, Looks like you fabbed up your exhaust, looks good. How about fabbing up your plastic cable holder out of steel. Also some people on here have put another 3 amp charger on there engine. Gives them 6 amps, dont know how well this works because I kept my S/G on my durmax. Really nice cart you have by the way.

Sweet cart! What year is it? Looks like an '84-'91.
