Brake problem after lifting Precedent
I installed a Jake's 6" Double A-Arm and HD four-leaf rear springs on our 2007 Precedent Gas. Though a 2007, this cart has less than 20 miles on it.
Once lifted, my brake pedal goes right to the floor, but does stop the cart. And just last night I noticed what sounds like a dragging brake. During installation, I loosened the clip holding the left (driver) rear brake cable to the frame, moved the cable within it, and reinstalled it. I remember hearing some folks say it MAY need to be replaced with a passenger side cable after installing a lift, but I thought that was only if it didn't fit. Seeking suggestions. Do I need to install a longer cable, adjust the cables where they rest under the floor mat, or both? Or? Lastly, I've uploaded a few before and after photos. Installed the lift kit, wheels & tires, seat covers, and the roof is getting painted this week. Just a few things to go. |
