Lift for an 87 ez go?
I've been searching for a mild lift for my 87 ezgo. This is mainly a around the house "work" cart, so I'm nit looking for anything crazy. I'm having trouble finding options for this age of cart though. Any options you guys know of?

Get a "Econo-Lift",or "Block-lift". They fit all EzGo Marathon-gas from 70s'-94'.Check with site-sponsors,they run about $100.5" will fit 22" tires.Hope this helps.

I think I saw that. I'm really looking for a little ground clearance, I plan on using the stock wheels and tires if possible. Will that give some ground clearance?

It will give the frame ground clearance, but your axles will remain at the same height. The only way to get more clearance under your axles is to get bigger tires. For every 1" bigger your tires are you get 1/2" more clearance beneath the axles.

But pachanga is right. Go for the econo block lift, or build one yourself. They are very simple.

Ok, is there a place to see how big of tires I could go before things started to rub? Any way to figure that out?

How about these? You think they would fit without issues? I'm totally new to the cart world if you haven't figured that out yet. I've finally got her running good, now it's time to play a little.

You can't fit more than stock tires without lift, maybe squeeze 20" tires, but they will rub.Larger tires will need offset wheels to keep from rubing the sidewalls on the steering and rear shocks.

Re: Lift for an 87 ez go?
What about the tires I posted above? They are 20", but 7" wide. The stockers are 8.5" wide right? Would that not take care of the rubbing issue when turning? I know with the 1" taller I may hit on good bump right?
