Default ezgo txt w/ jakes 6" axle lift

So i just got my jakes 6" drop axle lift and i was wondering if i could run my stock wheels and tires for a little while until my new ones are ordered......
if not i wont install the lift, i don't want to be out of commission. I want to order 12 x 7's with 23's. what offset? 2+5 is what i'm reading.. Thanks everyone!

well that sucks, i wanted to at least ride it around and or plow with it. didn't want to buy the wheels yet, well i do but the checkbook doesnt want it. ok so i'm looking at the Black tremor 12x7's with an all terrain tire for $525 off ebay. I'm looking for at least a 12" and black, but i've only found a few options. anybody seen anything cheaper?

The oems definitely won't work, I'm pretty sure the wheels rub the spindles. As for offset 2+5 work great cuz the widen the stance making it harder for the cart to toll on its side. You'll want fender flares if you like off-roading in the mud!

i thought that was the idea of the axle lift is that the spindles didn't change so the wheels would still work, also that its stronger than the drop spindles. so if i go 3+4 offset it tucks the wheels inward more? i don't want them sticking to far out but i'll end up with flares too, if youu have a pic of the front view so i see the overhang i'd appreciate it, thanks again

My first build was a txt many years ago and if I'm not mistaken the drop axle lift. Actually pushes the front wheels out 1.5-2" on each side. I intalled spacers on back axle to even out the stance. You may want to get different offsets front/rear to account for this or just get the spacersiso you can rotate your tires. I'll try to find some pics.
