Default another lift question

i have a 1998 ez go 1200 workhorse, yesterday i removed the rear springs to flip the axle to the bottom of the springs. i have done the 28 degree driven clutch change to get more torque to climb the drive way and hill from the field on the farm. the reason i am flipping the axle and not going with a lift kit is so i can keep useing my 8 inch wheels and tires. why will the 8 inch wheels not work with a axle lift on the front.they say it will rub the axle on the drop axle.can i use spacers on the hub to fix this.i need to know before i start on the front.thanks

i bought the jakes 6 inch lift from block buster golf cars for 277.07. they had the best price i have found any place on the web.not a single sponsor on this site would match it. they have great customer service and help me find other items i needed. i also got new heavy duty rear springs and bushings for it.i have the 1200 workhorse and the springs had lost the arch and were about to break.
