Default Lift Kit with a z-lift

I have a '93 Club Car gas that has about a 4" z lift on it from the previous owner. I'd like to lift it more. Can I add a lift kit now or once you've got the z lift you're done?

Thanks

You should be able to add a spindle lift to it.

Unfortunately, once a Z-lift is on... your limited with your choices of lifts!
and adding a lift... TO a lift... is not always a good idea, and is rarely suggested because of safety!
Yep... you could take the Z-lift off, patch and weld the frame, or just use straight plates!
(Can you tell I've researched this? )

Yeah... I have a factory installed Z-lift and wanted it higher!
I added a Jake's 3" spindle lift and everything worked out perfectly!
I've taken it off-road, and beat the cr*p out of it, (again... not suggested!) and for the last 4 years, it's all held up well!

Depending on how you'll use your cart, and the Z-lift you have, (homemade, or aftermarket bolt-on) and adding a spindle lift...
There should always be that... "Will something give away?" in the back of your head!

Do what you will... Just be aware, and be safe!

Always build your cart to withstand its worst possible mission.

I had a 4" Z lift and the front of my cart was 2" lower than the rear. I hated the way it looked, so I cut new brackets with the plasma cutter (you could do it with a razor wheel on a grinder) that were 2" taller and pushed out 3/4" further. It worked perfect, now my cart is 1/8" lower in front. Here's a pic of the new vs. old Z brackets....

Here is a pic of the cart with the new Z lift. I have 23-10-10 on the rear with Polaris wheels and 23-10-8 on the front. I'm looking to get Super Swamper vampires 25-12-12 all the way around and I think I have clearance.
