Default Lift on a club car.

Has anyone used a Rocky Top / Trade Mark Carts lift for a Club Car. I use my cart for both trail and street. The wife rides the kids all day long on the streets and when I have time we go out through some hay fields and some dirt roads. Nothing hard core or extreme just maybe a 6" deep rut here and there. My cart is going to be a 95 Carryall II with my clone engine from my 92 Carryall I. Planning on taking all my good parts off my running/driving carryall I and putting them on the Carryall II cart. Just wanting some insite on a lift because when I change everything over it's all going to be done as 1 build. Thanks folks.

Ive used the lift they sell on ebay for $200. No complaints, great deal especially since it includes the hd rear leaf springs. 8" lift is only $5 more too.

hey killer. I can't figure how to do this the right way with the copy and paste but this is the plan I'm looking at. When you go to ebay site just put this number in the search bar.111219724938 Give me your thoughts, I know we just looked at 1 fellow member that had a problem with a lift.

I've never used that lift. Did you look at the one link I put on the other thread?

I looked at this link that you put up.http://m.ebay.com/itm/111110962114?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1f
I know pics on ebay dont mean a bunch but that lift looks like just a stretched piece of 1" pipe for the spindles. I can do that here in the garage in about 15 mins. I hope that kit has something a little stronger looking than that. Don't get me wrong I ain't bad mouthing a lift at all. Just looking at pics on ebay some look alittle more meaty than others. I have never ordered 1 so all I have to go by is the pics ebay puts on there.

Its definitely more than that, but I see your point. It actually is a pretty tough lift. I had it on my last cart, club car ds 48v with d&d torque motor and all the other crud. I beat the f*#k out of that cart for 2 years and never had a problem.
For your described use though, I'm sure any lift will do.

Same lift I bought. Works, but NO suspension travel at all! Springs are WAY too stiff. Ended up using all of the lift parts, but my stock springs so I'd have some suspension at least. See my build thread for details.

Is $200 the regular price for this lift? It says that it is on sale, just deciding if I need to buy right now, not ready to start building yet.

I think they are normally right around $225 or so... Yes it is a sale price.

Now my question is do you have front wheel brakes like my 97 Carryall 2 plus has because some of these lifts will not work so I was told that why I just built my own Z lift for about 30 bucks
