Throwing mud
So I lifted my CC and put 23" tires on it and I'm having a blast. Took the wife out last night on the cart and we got back home and she was upset that there was mud thrown on her from the tires. I have searched oft fender flares but can't find any for my cart. I have a 1986 club car ds. Everything I fine is for 93 and up. Please help me keep the wife happy.
Thanks |

Re: Throwing mud
We're the outcast's of the Club Cars unfortunately. No one makes flares for our 86's. I've seen people take the late style flares and makes them work on our carts but they are not a direct bolt on :( Only other choice is Flexi Flare (brand name) or make you own out of fiberglass or maybe truck flares like a Jeep would have. Still haven't decided what I'm going to do with mine either.

Re: Throwing mud
What about these Flexy Flares? I replaced my EZ-GO hunting cart factory plastic fender flares with these because the factory ones cracked when they hit the nearest tree. These are rubber and bounce right back into shape. Check 'em out:

Re: Throwing mud
Thanks, I found them on Jegs a little cheaper. Have them on order. Hopefully they turn out nice.

The Flexi Flares, can you basically make them fit anything?

Re: Throwing mud
I ordered and received 2.5" Pacer Flexy Fenders from Jegs. Good price but I should have bought the 4" one. Front tires are still sticking out about 2" or so. Live and learn. Will be buying the 4" ones soon.

Re: Throwing mud
Yeah....well, like you say live 'n learn. I bought the 2.5" one's and they work fine. But for the front....just barely fine. I wish I would have bought the 4" for the front. Maybe they would hung out a bit....but mine is for hunting and keeping the mud out is more important than looking pretty. Well....just a little anyway.
