My first project ezgo
Hey every body I have done a lot of reading on here, but this my first time posting anything. I just recently done some trading around and got me and the family a 97 ezgo. We do a lot of camping, so we finally got one. We used it one time at the camp ground and realized we were going to have to step up our game, cause everyone was riding around with nice carts. Haha. So this winter I started ripping it apart. Nothing big, just lift wheels paint and more.

Here was my cart when I got it. Didn't look like much but it had a new pedal switch, f&r switch, solenoid and controller was new. So I figured it was a good start, considering I didn't have any money in it yet.uploadfromtaptalk1393647161160.jpg

Well finally got my cart disassembled, so far everything looks good. Frame is in good shape. Had a question about the seats. Has anyone just bought some good quality vinyl and recovered the seat them selves? uploadfromtaptalk1393734050949.jpguploadfromtaptalk1393734081580.jpg

Nice find! theres many guys on here that have re-done theire seats themselves, I bought the custom covers on ebay and stapled them on and they look great for less then $70. I know its more then a piece of vinyl but it does look great!

A friend of mine bought some camo cloth and I put that on his seats. You just need to make sure you take your time putting it on, not too difficult.

Here are the wheels me and the wife decided on. We really like these cause I have seen another set in person. They are 12" wheels with 23x10.5 tires. uploadfromtaptalk1393946119023.jpg
