Problems with a lift kit installation
I am installing Jake’s 6 inch A arm lift kit on a 2000 club car. When I lowered the rear end housing of the cart to install the rear risers, I ended up pulling the ground wire/cable for the starter motor from the frame. Also, one of the lines from the engine to the fuel pump broke away breaking the fuel pump. In trying to repair this after installing the new risers, I noticed that the existing ground was not quit long enough to reattach. In addition, I will need a slightly longer line to the new fuel pump I need to order. After I put on a new ground to the starter motor it would still not turn over. Has anyone else run into this? What other wires or lines may have pulled away? I know I have not found all the problems because it will still not turn over after reattaching a new (longer) ground to the starter motor. There were no indications in the 2 pages of instructions that this might be an issue.

Re: Problems with a lift kit installation
Did you ever figure it out? I lifted mine and the ground wire came off. I cannot get it to turn over now.

Re: Problems with a lift kit installation
On my previous 10-12 6" Jake's spindle lifts the instructions said something about the ground wire, but I have not opened up my A-arm kit to see what they say.
