Change of plans
Well, I was looking at purchasing a set of HD rear springs.. Until I came along a 8" a-arm lift with HD rear springs for only 100$ more..
Does anyone with a CC use the 8" lift and is the brake extender a must for using it? |

Re: Change of plans
I did the brake flip on my CC XRT, only a six inch lift but the cables were stretched really bad. Flipped the brakes and all is good, lots of slack in the cables. I would guess it would work well for the 8 inch lift as well.
The directions are here. |

Re: Change of plans
I'm thinking my brakes were already flipped as I have a 6" on there now and the cables have plenty of slack already.. I'll take a pic tomorrow.. Thanks revo!

Re: Change of plans
I used an 8" with a-arms from an ebay seller. I had to remove the brake cables from their holders but that was it.
