Re: brushguard for hunting cart??
How about welding a 2" receiver hitch on the front. Then you could buy or build something that would attach to the hitch. It would be nice and easy to take off and on, which may mean you could make it bigger since it wouldn't have to be there all the time.

Re: brushguard for hunting cart??
Bottom in bolted thru the same holes where the factory "bumper" bolted to, top goes thru the same holes where the body is bolted on. 4 bolts and the whole thing comes right off. I made the top rack first, then the down tubes. my son welded it all up after some instruction from me. Not bad for his first time.

Re: brushguard for hunting cart??
I've got the outback fabricators brush guard, and they have a front basket that can be incorporated into it. Just check their site for good ideas!

Re: brushguard for hunting cart??
thanks for the suggestions.....went to my buddies yesterday afternoon...broke out the welder and plasma cutter....and I have a front rack now...after that took the cart on a 8 mile ride ( round trip) to the river. Hills/rocks/ruts...and more rocky steep trails...landed a 50 lb turtle....( released after pic's)...and hung a huge flathead catfish....but he got off...DANG!!!..caught some nice bluegill....got out of the woods at 9:30pm...no lights on cart yet...but a streamlight flashlight worked well...lol I got to take the rack off the cart and paint them pic's...nothing fancy but very sturdy!! and I only had to buy one piece of metal for 5 bucks ..had the rest!! So a great afternoon.
