Default Lifted Yamaha Rides Horrible

I have a g16 with a 6" jakes kit and the thing rides very rough.I dropped my pressures down to 8 p.s.i and it helped a little. Is there any thing i can do other than installing a long travel kit.I was considering maybe cutting a coil or two of of the coilover shocks.....Thanks for the help.

What tires do you have? I run about 4 psi in mine.

Check on the side wall, they may give you a minimum psi. It can only help with the ride.

No minimum psi on the sidewall, only a maximum of 14p.s.i.They are only four ply sidewalls.Do you think i would be ok at 5 p.s.i.?

No, shocks are coil over, they have to be on.

I would try 5 psi, should be OK.

Maybe he's talkin about microdot.... The alltrail tires are made of a hard compound and ride rough, they do last for a very long time though. They're not to bad if you stay on the street. Tires can make a world of difference in how a cart rides. I run a set of alltrails with 7psi in them and at times, I wish I had a kidney belt when using that cart. I can use different tires (like 489s) on the same cart and have it ride like a Cadillac.
