Default Jakes Long Travel On 2000 EZGO TXT Gas

I am in the process of installing a jakes long travel on my 2000 EZGO TXT has and have run into a sticking point and am unable to figures the out. I figure you all could assist. I am trying to remove the lower front suspension and I can't figure out how to get the two bolts out of the steering assembly so I can lower the suspension away. Can someone please let me know how I can remove these. Pictures are below

Use a tie rod separator to slide between the boot and the plate the bolts come through. Ive seen people thead the nut on flush with the top of the threads and hit the nut to knock it loose. Ive also seen mechanics hit the rod and makes the tie rod end come free. I dont recommend either of the last two over the first one though.

The shaft you're trying to remove is tapered and you need a tool called a pickle fork. It's a tapered U shaped piece that is driven between the steering knuckle and the steering box plate. The taper separates the two pieces. You can get one at an auto supply.

You need this. Autozone and Advance and Oriley's all will loan this tool out or you can buy it for $20.

User a pry bar to put some tension on it and whack the arm with a hammer on the bottom side. Watch out for the threads, maybe put the nuts back on loosly. Should pop right out.
