Default Air Shocks

Where and can I get air shocks for my 86 yamaha G2. I would like to get a set for the front and possibly(more than likly) the rear. Questions if any one has them on their cart; do they bolt right on, or do they need mods.? Where can i get them? And about how much do they cost? What about performance?

Any help greatly aprishiated

Ive HAD THEM ON THE FRONT OF MY CART FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS , BUT I DID A LARGE AMOUNT OF MODS BEFORE THE SHOCK WHEN ON , BUT THEY WHERE ALWAY MY PLAN , AS FAR AS RIDE GOES I WOULDNT TRADE IT FOR ANY COILOVERS OUT ,IF THE RIDE GETS TO ROUGH ,, JUST AIR DOWN PROBLEM SOLVED

Do the shocks requier alot of mods to be put on? I'm realy only interested in doing the front shock because I put on chrome extra heave duty rear shosks(with more travel), and moved the old rear shocks up front(which have alot more travel than the original front shocks). The ride is so much more smooth but I cant climb steep hills now because the front end pops up in the air because of the shocks rebound. So this is why I'm looking into air shocks.

I have air shocks on the front of my cart (the one in my avatar) I did have to weld the right mount on the top of them but at the time I was dealing with a few sets I already had so I didn't look for any that would bolt up from the parts store. I've done basically nothing to the cart other than put them on, they work great for me but my tires absorb alot of impact. I don't really run any air in them, only enough to tighten it up.

Take an old shock to auto parts store and try to match it up.

Your best bet is probably 67-79 Air Shocks for a Dodge Chrysler or Plymouth. I believe they have the proper ends on them. I am trying to get some free ones to try on my cart. Also if you don't want to go with air shocks you can always use overload/load leveler shocks or coil over shocks for a VW Beetle.

Let me know if the shocks you get work out or fit because if they do I will probly get a set for the front of my cart. Thanks
