It is nice to see a cart find it's permanent home. So often they are thoughtlessly traded for cash and go from home to home without anyone ever caring about their feelings

Well, I finally got the 1/2 of the lift done and let me tell you I had one heck of a time. It started out with the rear end lift first since it seemed a bit easier than the front. I figured just change the leaf springs and add the new ones and we are done, right..... WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a doozie of a time removing the old ones because the bolts were rusted and stuck like glue. I finally had to put an impact to them and they were so rusted and stuck that the nut just broke right off when the impact wrench went to work. Well since the cart is a 1995 the bushings in the old leaf springs were also worn out and cut to shreds so I had to run to the local club car dealer and buy all six sets for about $4.00 a set which wasn't too bad but I still had to drive 45 miles to the club car dealer for some little pieces of rubber. But once it was all said and done and installed it looks pretty cool. It kind of looks like an old school hot rod and I even thought about leaving it like that but my wife said I was crazy and had to finish it off. So here are a few pics of the rear end done and the new hot rod look. Stay tuned for tomorrow or the next day when I get the front end done and I will have it all leveled out.

I think you have to reverse the two brackets, put the one with the shock mount on top and put the new bracket on the bottom.
Good Luck
