Default Mad play in steering

This cart was lifted when I bought it and has always had excessive play in the steering comming from the extensions hooked to the steering knuckles. They kinda wiggle and make the tie rod end get into the side wall of the tire a little. Just rubs them but I would like to find a way to solve this problem. I do not know what list kit this is other than a drop axle type I am attaching a picture of the wobbly part in question. all of the bolts are tight and the tie robs have no play it comes from where the extension connects to the knuckle. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe some sort of metal or rubber shims might be missing?

Weld the extensions to the spindles.

I could try that. I should disconect the battery pack before I weld?

If I just drop a weld right across the front of the extension ther should be enough ehh?

You don't have to disconnect the battery pack but it is good practice every time you work on the cart if you do.

Any weld is better then what you got with just the two bolts. I would try to get a weld on the bottom sides also as just across the front will crack over time.

will do! I also just noticed some play in the steering arm? not sure if that is what it's called but it is an 98 ezgo txt steering box and the link that is bolted through the box as a pivot point and connected on one end to the 2 tie rods that go to the wheels and on the other end to the tie rod that screws into the rack. looks replaceable, I will search for a diagram and see what is worn, probably just a bushing or something
