Default Club Car DS Project

I just wanted to give another quick thank you to everyone on here for all of your ideas, tech support and moral support. I have read atleast 100 posts for every 1 post that I have put up thus far!

I have made some significant progress on my first build and wanted to share a few pics!

I hope to get the newly painted cowling installed tonight so I'll post a pic or two of that later! The rest of the body should be complete by the weekend!

My original post with a few pics! I probably have some repeats below.

Thanks tjequip and Mudhog.

It's been fun working on it. It's a toss up between me and kids on who's had more fun working on it.

I have a friend that is painting the body for me. It's Lexus blue with a little violet pearl in the clear coat.

Here's a quick pic of front cowl after paint. The lighting doesn't do it justice.

Oh yea, need to get that thing out in the sun to get a good picture. Looks good though.

Check your passenger side tires as the front one is rotating opposite than the driver side. Won't hurt anything and is just an aesthetic thing. Believe it or not, I learned that in a Freshman high school drafting class when we built the CO2 race cars. We did show and shine pictures and made sure our wheels lined up for the pictures.

Yep. Nice attention to detail. I noticed that they were running opposite each other the other day. I think I might have had a shinerbach or two when I installed them. I should have known better. I'll fix it. Once I get the rest of the body painted this weekend I'll take it out in the sun for a better pic.

I'm pumped. I got the rest of the body painted and installed this weekend. For the first time in 3 months it looks near complete again. I'm very pleased to say the least. Now to sit and wait a little for batteries and charger.
