my ezgo txt build
heres a few pics of my 05 ezgo txt gas that I picked up a couple weeks ago bone stock. did a jakes 6'' spindle lift, cpp clutch springs, some 22x11x10 duro tires on offset steel rims and a madjax rear seat which I love when I flip it down for cargo. painted it satin black with the moonshine outshine camo which has bieges in it to match the seats and top. textured wheel flares and the madjax lighting kit. this things gonna be great for hunting. still like to do some led light bars, 1.5'' rear wheel spacers(I think 2'' will be to much compared to the front) and winch but I used up the budget already.lol. thanks to this site for all the great info and pics. made my decisions on what I need and don't need a lot easier.

Re: my ezgo txt build
For some reason I have a weak spot for Tan camo and black on a cart, Looks GREAT
With a Jakes Spindle lift on a TXT, You are correct - 2" per side will take You just a hair wider than the front (good for stability, terrible at slinging water or mud, etc) - 1.5" should be dead even (with just a little hanging outside the flares) and 1" will keep the tires covered but leave You a bit narrower in back. That said, anything over an inch in back will also keep you from fitting between the wheel wells of a full-size truck (if You transport your cart that way) - Your fronts with a spindle lift are too wide already, but if You stay 1" or less when spacing the back, you can still back the cart into the bed, just a thought. There's a good thread on LED light bars going here somewhere, be sure to read it before spending any money - there are a bunch of HUGE differences in the available styles and types out there, and it isn't always a lot more money to gain a LOT more light, reliability, and longevity. That said, a decent 120-180w LED bar will basically create your own daylight for riding and can't be beat !!! |
