Default Source for the orange Nissan leaf terminal covers?

Anyone know of one or some other simple solution? Thanks.

Here is an interesting thread you might want to check out. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...ghlight=jkerle

You do not necessarily have to use the covers. Definitely makes for a cleaner and potentially "safer" install.

Anyone selling modules should have the covers since they come from the Leaf pack. My modules came with the covers - which are very nice by the way.

My first gen modules came from a local mobile energy system company and all I received were modules. I used some decent sized split wire loom I had layin around to cover the terminals, it grabs the edges of the busbars pretty good. Not very pretty or professional looking, but works well. Also, in case someone out there is in the same boat, the spacers are .143” (I hope my memory is correct, if not I will edit) and two washers I had stamped UAC stacked together amazingly measured.143”. I’m pretty sure that box of washers came from Lowe’s.

The problem is that every module in the full Leaf pack does not have one of the normal single orange covers. In some areas of the pack, covers are different, where the modules are stacked different. That is why Nick at EV Battery had to go to the 3D printed ones he supplied with his modules. About 25% of them are different and can't be used the way we normally assemble the packs.

Ok. It doesn’t seem like I’m going to find them anywhere. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good cover, homemade or otherwise?

Attached is a 3D print of a device that will work for the 7 module pack. It is accurate dimensionally but I think it has some errors that need to be corrected for printing. If you have access to 3D printing, this is a good choice. This one was printed white and I painted it black. Just make a clear 1/16" thick lexan cover and 4 small screws to hold cover. It just sits down over the terminals and the bus bars hold it down. It is tight and does not move around.
