Default Battery Monitor - Victron BMV 712

Anybody installed one of these on a lithium setup? I have 4x 12.8V 80AH from Allied, and thinking of installing one of these units.

Yes NoleFan4Ever has a Victron on his Lithium setup (his is the BMV700 but the setup is the same). He had it on his Lead Acid setup and simply reconnected it when he went to Lithium. As to his setup check out http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...install-2.html specifically #12, 13 and 14.

He is away at the moment but will probably chime in when he gets back in a few days time.

I have the BMV702 with the bluetooth dongle on mine but I have the Lead Acid batteries. They are a great meter.

I went to install it Tuesday evening, but the ring terminals on my cart weren’t big enough for the included shunt. I will have to deal with that first this weekend and then I can give it a try.
