Default 2006 Precedent

Started to install some of the goodies. Got the front light, horn, front wiring, and the dash in it. Also the signal lever. Gotta figure out a different way to install the lever because I don't want to cover the chrome steering tube when it comes in. I removed the front of the cart to tie up wires and such. I bolted the diode bridge to a piece of steel under the front end because I was running the cart with the lights on and the diode got pretty hot. I will put some pictures up of it.

If you still have the front cowl off, I recommend taking out the tray and installing a small 12v with the highest amp hour rating you can fit there and install a cigarette lighter off that battery. I have my headlight and cigarette lighter for a phone charger or whatever is needed and it has been very useful. By running the light off that battery it assures you that you aren't running down a single battery in the regular pack. I can run my light for a couple hours before I notice the battery I installed starting to go dead.

Mine is a gas and it seems to be charging real well. I am going to put the test meter on it to see what it is indeed putting out. I had to install the diode/rectifier bridge to cut the generator power down around a volt or two so the lights don't burn out.

I changed the dash and added some gauges, also added the stereo and the led lights on the brush guard.

Already have the stereo in the overhead so I figured to put gauges in that spot. I messed up ordering the oil pressure gauge and got a larger one than the others but I think it worked out better. Kinda offsets things a bit.

What size wheels/tires did you go with?

Have you noticed any difference in the breaking performance since putting the big wheels/tires on?

I just got a 2011 Precedent and am looking at the same wheels that you have, but can't decide which size wheels and tires to go with. I was hoping to not have to get new brakes because of the extra rolling weight. Your wheels/tires look great on your car!

Thumbs up Re: 2006 Precedent

22-11-12. I am unsure of the offset of the rims. I put 2" spacers on the back wheels to move them out to the flares.
