Default G2 A-arms on G1!

As many know, I'm installing a 25hp in my G1. I have a lift on the cart that I built. It worked fine with the 8hp I had in it. But I want something a bit better for this engine.

I was thinking of installing the A-arms and spindle/hubs off my G2 on it with a new lift. The thinking is that these are built better and will give me a more stable platform than the 2 piece A-arms on the G1.

Anyone done this swap? Anyone with the Pachanga type lift on a G2 ever driven the G1 with the same type lift? If so, I'd be interested in a comparison.

I just want to get this cart going to ride and then will pull the G2 in the shop and strip it down and put a double A-arm in it when I build it.

Guess no one else has had any reason to do this. So I'm on my own and will just go for it.

I've never seen it either but, I'm sure it will be pretty sweet. Keep us posted on the pics and info. Inquiring minds would like to know!

Thanks guys, I'll be sure and post pictures. I just thought it would be easy enough to build another lift with the hitch tube and the G2 A-arms would be better than the G1 arms are. Guess we will see.
