Default Mercedes Cart Makeover

Just finished the makeover on a plain, stock Yamaha G14. I really just wanted to put a coat of paint and wheels on it so it didn't look like the course's fleet carts, but it turned into more (as I assume it usually does for the rest of you as well). When I mentioned to another guy that I was going to put a coat of paint on it, he suggested that I should do it up like my car so I could have "twins". Instead, I'll henceforth refer to them as "sisters" (big sister and little sister).

Using a stock G14 for comparison:

With wheels, and teardown mostly done:

Tore down - had to take her out for a spin around the neighborhood as a rat rod:

So, what do most people do next? I've ruled out a lift kit, since then she won't look like her big sister anymore, but I haven't ruled out engine upgrades. Big sister has a 6.3L, so the little G14 pales in comparison but if I'm trying to make it similar it's probably a requirement. Unfortunately, I don't even know where to start there, since I'm no greasemonkey (I don't even change my own oil). I still need to clean it well once the dust settles, and I'm waiting on a front badge that is on backorder.

Certainly if you were able to take the body off you could easily put a vegascarts swap in which doesn't require a lift kit. That would double your horsepower and depending on which version you order really increase your top speed.I did my g14 in late fall and love the results. And I am guessing you want it for residential or course use this provides a large speed and power increase.

Like the match idea. Very much into making the cart something else with used and after-market emblems etc. Did one Western as a Cadillac and even had custom GPS Speedometer dial Cadillac script logoed. The other cart is best friend's Western and it lent itself to a Porche look. Fun projects
