New cart will be parts!
I found a cart in the scrap yard. My daughters boyfriend actually found it. Not sure of what kind it is. It's electric but no batteries or motor. It's pretty rough but has some good parts I can use on my cart.
It has a good aluminum diamond plate box with tailgate on the back and a good windshield as well as decent tires. The top is usable with a nice screen between it and the passengers. It even has a bumper/brush guard on the front. I'll get better pictures when I get it home. I'm headed to Dallas for a couple days and will get better pictures after. Anyone have any ideas as too what the cart is? There may be parts I can sell after that. image.jpg |

It's going to be parts for my other cart. Bed, windshield and top. Tires will be used on my g2 maybe.

Yep, for sure a Marathon. If the body panels are in good shape don't scrap em, the only ones that exist anymore are the originals. Just a side note, if it was electric it should have an anti-sway bar on the rear end - kind of a neat feature on a lifted cart.

Re: New cart will be parts!
Hi hope all is well. I called around some scrap yards last month to see what I could find but came up empty. I know there has to be some old carts out there in my area as well. I finally have a weekend at home so I am looking forward to working on my G1. Have a great weekend , ken

Re: New cart will be parts!
Enjoy working on your cart and good luck in your search. I just got lucky finding this one and there are many parts I plan to use on my G1.
I'll start a new thread when I begin working on it as I'll be making some major changes to the body and will be building a roll cage and such as well. |
