84 CC DS Villager finally completed
it took me 3 years to tear this thing down to the frame, reassemble, paint, and complete... Many projects stood in the way, cabin on the river, a teardrop camper build, kids and life in general interfered but it's finally done!!!
Paid $100 for the cart without a motor or batteries... Installed a plumb Quick motor, all new solenoids (old school solenoid cart), replaced all micro-switches and wiring, new 2011 CC Precedent rear differential, new spring,.... shoot, 90% of suspension was replaced! Final tally was about,... well, I have no idea as I scrapped any of kind of budget.... I think I ended up with about $3400 in it! At this point, the money is irrelevant as its done and being enjoyed! |

Very nice work on the cart. 3 years is a long time but sounds like you had other projects that were fun too.
Enjoy the cart a lot, you earned it. |

Did plumquick rework your original motor? How is the performance with the coils? I just picked up an 87 with coils and was looking for ideas.

robnhood, I just bought one off the shelf... the old motor I had was a 1.5hp (old style)... I swapped out the diff to a 2010 or 2011 Precedent... PQ had the diffs in stock too... I drove up one day and picked up the diff and motor, along with some body parts and accessories for another cart.
