My Big Blocked '04 E-Z-Go
Here's a few pics of my '04 TXT..
I put up with the wimpy little 295cc for about a year before adding "mo power" ... Got one of Tom's (Cart Parts Plus) 23 Vanny kits (w/Cam & Rev Kit) for a major horsepower injection.. It also has a AM/FM/CD stereo in a marine enclosure, full instrumentation (Tach, Oil Pressure, Voltmeter, Fuel gauge), a set of dash doors (didn't want a full dash cover), cargo box, and a set of 8:1 Hi-Speed gears.. It's also a legally registered LSV.. |

Quick tip: Plan on having to grind the heads off of the fork retaining screws, Briggs cranks them in super tight and brads the ends.. In order to keep the grinding dust and thread shavings out of the main bearings pressed into the cover, cover them with duct tape.. Also I removed the oil pump from the cover and taped over the oil galleries.. When finished tapping the hole, spray everything clean with aerosol brake parts cleaner.. |
