Club car trans sender
Well I acquired one of these beauties for free. Runs great but is absolutely butt ugly. I need some suggestions to spruce it up a bit. Paint, lift, I have 14" rims just need tired if I lift it. I googled for images and nothing popped up that was interesting.

Re: Club car trans sender
That's not butt ugly at all. I like it. Do a decent paint job, or at the least a good cleaning. A small lift and larger tires and wheels would do it wonders as far as looks too.
The aluminum parts I'd leave as they are or possibly polish it up a bit. Clean up the headlights and windshield good and you'll have a nice looking cart. It's nice to have the bed and the extra seating. I'm not greedy, wouldn't even have to be free........ I'd pay a bit for a clean looking cart like that one. |

Thats pretty nice! I love the carryalls though. A good lift, bigger wheels/tires and a v-twin will make that thing into a sweet cart! I prefer the allsports super sport lift.

Serial number was J00XXX. So is it safe to assume it is a 2000? What parts would it take to lift it? Is it a DS platform?

Re: Club car trans sender
Correct. It's a 2000. Any DS lift kit will work. When you order, make sure to order one for the old style hubs with metal dust caps. Also, you're going to have an issue with the front wheel brakes if your vehicle is equipped. There aren't' any aftermarket lift kits available that will work with the factory front brakes so you won't be able to re-use them. With properly adjusted rear brakes you'll never miss them.

Wouldn't the jakes 6233 lift kit work. It says it's designed for 4 wheel brakes.
