1st carryall build
This is my first CC, I had a 2 stroke EZGO and G2 Yamaha that I sold to finance this cart. It was purchased in Albany GA. from a CC dealer who told me it came from FLA and was used at a collage and I believe it was on the Base Ball field judging by the red clay dust and remnants I have found.
Its a 2000 Carryall 6 that has been converted to a Transporter 6. It's gas and had 1100 hrs on the dial, has head lights, horn, flip down windshield, brake lights, 4 wheel brakes and a full top. It was ALL grey and with the aluminum body and grey seats it was very industrial looking and pretty boring to the eyes. I have added a 5 panel mirror, duel cup holders on both sides, and had the front cowl painted VW Tornado red ordered my lift kit ( went with a CC Z lift so I could maintain my break system to slow it down), and I am trying to decide what set of (black) wheels to go with. I am defiantly going with a AT tire 22-11 x12 due to it will be used on dirt roads around coastal VA. Future plans are to add red vinyl stripe where the black factory stripe has been removed. I rebuilt the front end this weekend, replaced all the front bushings kingpins and replaced the tie rods ends. There was play in one bushing so I replaced them all trying to head off any issues that may arise and replaced a missing front engine snubber. I am going to add a back up light that is activated from the rear buzzer only when the head lights are turned on via a 12v relay. This thing is 11'9" long and I can not see behind it at night when backing up. Looking to change the seat color (undecided on color) in the future. This thing is so grey that it was not easy to look at, that's going to change and make it easy on the eye. Stay tuned for updates and improvements. golf cart ca.jpg Carryall.jpg gc1.jpg gc4.jpg |

Nice cart, FYI, Jake's makes a 6" spindle lift that will retain your front brakes. I put one on my villager six and it is an outstanding lift kit.

Yep, nice cart and I can see where a back up light would come in handy. Good luck with the build!

image.jpgWell I finally got my back up light installed, it comes on only when the lights are on and the cart is put into reverse. This cart is so long you can not see behind you at night while backing up.

I will be getting on the lift as soon as some funds free up for the wheels and tires, happy wife happy life! We just bought a new car so have to wait for our funds to adjust. But I will get them soon

Re: 1st carryall build
Looks good. Need that on the back of my camper for night backing. That puts out a lot of light for it's size.
