The 1981 Flintstone Flyer (Gas G1) is done!
Finally finished putting our G1 back together. It has new paint, wheels/tires, upholstery on (original) front seats, new back seat, front shocks, steering wheel, mirror, flooring and headlights. I spent hours polishing the original aluminum trim and am now glad I did. The top is original still. We shot some paint on it. Time will tell how long it lasts, but we like the way the original looks without the front supports...like the Flintstone car and couldn't find an aftermarket replacement without front supports. Our G1 is used to tow the kids' junior dragsters at the drag strip.

Wow that looks awesome, it looked great in it's original stage as well. I will be working on mine again come spring time. I want the same setup/ original roof but haven't had any luck finding one yet but I won't give up. Best of luck with your G1 you did a great job.
