07 Matte Orange Precendent Project
So I having been building my 07 Precedent on and off for about 8 months now. It not an extreme build but still has been fun so far. The first picture is how I bought it. It had a 6" lift with aftermarket wheels and tires but stock size. It looked goofy so I quickly sold those and went bigger. Next I did the stereo install. I didn't want to to an overhead stereo, new dash, or speakers in the body so I did speaker pods in the dash. I really like how it came out. I also made some brackets to mount the converter in the with the rest of the electronics.

Here are more pictures of the radio install finished and with the new 23" tires on it and the beginning of the tear down to get it to the new 3M Matte Orange.

Re: 07 Matte Orange Precendent Project
And here are pictures of it with the LED lights on it see what they look like.
So what is left to do is: I have a new controller on the way and now that I see the factory beige seats against the orange they just don't cut it so I will have to do something about that. I am excited to take some pictures of it outside because the matte material almost takes on a pearl effect in certain light. Note the roof was not wrapped it has been painted to match the wrap. I was very skeptical that it was going to match but it actually does. |

Re: 07 Matte Orange Precendent Project
My cart body was wrapped by a local business but you can buy the material online. The material is 3M 1080 series matte orange. I googled it and found this site http://www.metrorestyling.com/3M-108...tte1080m54.htm
Note if you order or see a sample it doesn't give the same effect as a large piece will on the curves in daylight. Google pictures of cars in the wrap. There are some really awesome colors available. Hope this helps! |
