Default EZGO Workhorse Brought Back To Life

My dads friend had this EZGO workhorse for about a year with plans to fix it up but it just sat. I picked it up for $550 4days ago in rough shape and did some work to it over the weekend and it's running great now! I had to cut out the rusted out spot on the frame towards the front where the frame turns up past the floorboard and weld in a new piece of C-Channel. Engine wanted to run but was really rough. Drained the gas tank.... fresh fuel + carb cleaning + new spark plugs and it runs like a top. It came with a new seat so I got the siderails mounted, put on the bumper & the top. I had some LED spot lights sitting around so I mounted those on the bumper too. Didn't take much to get it running & looking alot better than it did. Future plans are new wheels/tires, new seat back cover, new bushings where needed & maybe lift up the front end 2" to level it out. Here's some pics....

Sounds like you got a heck of a deal and you've got it looking pretty good.

Thanks guys, I've been needing something just like this to use around the house. How can I lift up the front 2-3"? Can the front axle be moved to below the springs or is there something that can easily be fabricated or swapped around to gain a couple of inches up front? The front sags in general and more so the front drivers side a little more.

Put on the vinyl top & windshield that I got with the cart. The top was brand new in box but the windshield is a little hazy. Works for now. Rolled up the vinyl top but seems like it would come in handy on a rainy day.

That windshield will polish out if you plan to keep it.
