Default Is this worth $175-200?

Got a buddy with a Club Car DS that has been stretched. I offered him $100 against his $300 and I've been hit with $200 after 2 weeks. I know I will need a new top, floor mat and make a mount for my rear body if I cut it for the middle seat but transferring everything from mine and making more room for the family to cruise on this year. Honest Opinions appreciated!

I'd have concerns over how the stretch was accomplished more than anything. (I'm a little anal about that stuff so take it with a grain of salt) From my perspective it looks like the right side rail wasn't welded in straight....right where its joined by the rear body it looks crooked. IT could just be how its sitting, the picture angle or any number of things though.

Your gonna need throttle and brake cables etc...those aren't too cheap but....cheap is relevant I guess.

I've read many of your threads Sled... you do amazing work!

BUT... the one of the things that come to my mind with any stretched carts is the turning radius!
Getting yourself out of tight spot might prove to be difficult! (until your used to it!)
And, I'm not so sure I'd "cut up" a good working cart, to build this one...
I'd probably add to it from parts carts and still have a working cart in the process of the build.

Thanks Guys, Replies from all of you is well appreciated! I see your points & thinking that a new trailer may also be needed to carry it. I think I will pass on a stretched cart right now.
