Bought a new ride yesterday
I bought a new cart yesterday on eBay. It's a California Roadster from ACG. I'm going to pick it up next Friday. Can't wait to get it home and make it my own. I have several ideas about mods I think it "needs"

Cool looking cart for sure. Gas or electric?
What are the plans for upgrading it? |

Re: Bought a new ride yesterday
It's 48V electric. Club car running gear. The flames on it are just stickers and will be removed. It's screaming for LED undercar lights and maybe some LED accent lights here and there. I'm going to fabricate some kind of removable bimini top for it as momma don't want a hot seat. In all the pictures I have gotten of it, the paint looks good. If it's not the case when I pick it up, I'll have my body shop guys come up with something cool for it (I work at the Chevy store). From there, I'll just have it "tell" me what it wants as I look at it.

Re: Bought a new ride yesterday
Not my paint color scheme, but yes what a really nice looking ride! Looks really sharp, nice interior. Chrome pipes would look really sweet on one of those but not sure how to do it. That is about the only improvement I can think of, aside from a sound system it may or may not have....and yeah the LED lighting of course.

Re: Bought a new ride yesterday
Some chrome side pipes would be sweet. Could probably go find some chrome step tubes from a truck at a pull a part and with some creative cutting.....

Re: Bought a new ride yesterday
Are you talking about steps or faux exhaust side pipes? I thought about trying to rig a couple chrome pipes out the back with little flame throwers American Grafitti style. I don't think it would be too difficult using an electronic ignitor and the little propane bottles. I would just have to locate an electric valve to control flow.
