My G2 project
Here are a few pics. I just took of my G2 project cart. I wish that I would have taken some before the tear down, but was just too excited to get started. It was your typical campground cart owned by a little ole lady that was selling everything and moving to Florida. The cart was full of mud and dirt, rusted frame with the battery mounts totally gone and the dog legs we're rusted out. I elected to wire wheel and sand the frame then coated it with POR15 to seal the frame topped it with 2 coats of primmer than topped with flat black paint.

Re: My G2 project
Plans are to put on a single arm lift kit from Jake's,called and spoke with them last Friday. Was disappointed when she told me that the 6" lift was actually only 5" story of my life..lol
I have a lot of my parts already blasted and painted, the bolt on stuff..waiting on new swing arm bushings so I can get that mounted along with the rear axle. Trying to find the right/best deal on a lift, tire, and wheel package to save the most money. Everything is going to be painted flat black and was hoping to maybe do the body in a sublime green like the Dodge Challenger, but that is still up in the air. Already rebuilt the carb and fuel pump..didn't see any smoke from the motor,so it will be a stocker til she dies, than maybe go to a BIG BLOCK down the road. |
