The sleeper.....

Well, i finally got my hands on a new camera and thus have some pics......
specs...i call it a sleeper simply because it goes 41mph.

1.new fe350
2.6:1 gears
3. uni filter and larger jet
4.machined drive clutch with spring
5.and a few other minor things
the pics are kinda blurry cause i had the camera on the wrong setting... there will be more to come later...

Its pretty quick... it beats my friends electric cart (48volt 400amp controller 5500rpm high speed motor and 8:1 gears) pretty bad... i can cruise next to him at like half throttle... plus my acceleration is better than his.. from a stop i am about four to five cart length away from him before he gets close to his top end.. its pretty quick... i got stopped by the local patrol cause they clocked me at 35 (speed limits 30)..and i was just cruisin at 3/4 throttle

I love it! i do need a top however... it makes me look less suspicious when riding in the neighborhood!

NICE! I am planning on trying to squeeze as much as I can out of my new project. I hope I can get in the same MPH range as that.

It was pretty easy,however, i did work at a cart shop for a while... but i do think that any thing smaller than the 350 would have trouble with the 6:1's..

Im gonna get a video up soon of the acceleration from a stop.. it should be pretty good!

It went more like.... "Do you know how fast you were going?" I was like, nope... Then he proceded to ask me what i had done to "that thing".. i told him it was a stock motor and he said "Pssshhhh... your kidding right?" It was kinda funny cause he had a lifted gas cart he had some questions about that helped him out with.... id have to say i lucked out on that one..

41mph is very impressive. I'd agree you lucked out with that cop having a cart of his own. Never know, you two may end up friends and messing around with carts on the weekends.
