2015 club car subaru engine
Finally found a used 2015 club car precedent gas with the Subaru engine. Night and day on power as compared to the Kawasaki. Adjusted the accelerator and is going 23mph GPS. Had 5 people on it going up our long super hill where most carts struggle. This thing flew up the hill. Very happy with the cart and the new Subaru engine/clutch setup that club car put together vs older models of precedents.

I wasn't know they put subaru engine in club car.... if you ask me subaru is hard to beat !!!

Very light mods at this point. The power up the hill is incredible. Great choice on the Subaru engine. Quite a few people have asked to demo it and love it. Finding a newer used club car with the Subaru gas engine is hard to find.

Governor adjustment is under the cart just behind the gas pedal.

Any way to get it to idle? I know you can probably still get the clutch machined and the 200rpm spring put in there. But electronically speaking.. will it idle. I've wired up a momentary switch on my 2010 Precedent using two wires coming from the foot pedal. Hit the button and it fires right up then Turns off with the key.

Totally unsure of this since it's now controlled electronically. Would really like to see club come out with a performance chip for these!
