That is a big lift! The cage looks really nice on there. I'd say you did a lot to it, nobody will mistake that, very nice!

Many carts are a work in progress. I use mine so much I don't want to take it out of service. This summer finally beefing up the clone in it and of course hit a bunch of setbacks and still not back together. Think I have everything now just need time to work on it. Should run a lot better and then can look at other things like ATV front. And I've had the thing almost 20yrs, but run it all summer.

I know what u mean...id like to do a double a arm suspension on front for more articulation but this will be used more for a work horse my goal is to get a true side by side or maybe a new atv . But for now i cant beat the price and setup of the custom g2

looks pretty good, I really like the roll cage work you did.. and I see that she turns them 27"s fairly easy.. Nice work

Id like to put a roof on the cage and maybe a light bar, and yea no trouble turning the 27's 😊

The stock lifan 420 I been riding around really runs nice, it backs off at around 25mph on 22s and will get up to 31. But under 25 it has some beans and will spin the tires, takes off with authority. Its like stock only twice the power, all pedal start just like stock, rebuilt stock G9 clutches, it really runs nice for a $300 motor and little else other than replacing worn out parts. All it has is governor removed, custom airbox and exhaust of mostly used car parts, and it was jetted. You really can't beat a clone for a power upgrade given the cost.

Yeah I lifted mine way before any kits were out there, using a welder. It has worked well for all the years I've run it now, I've never done a thing to it other than moving the shocks in the adjustment holes I put in the lift depending on what I was using it for most. With the clone built I can see more need for a better front and rear shocks, really stock or stock clone you can get away with stock lift for the most part because speeds are lower. Unless you do HD offroading.

I was not smart enough to go larger when I lifted it, back then 22s were huge I didn't even think of larger.

I bet they were happy about your little donuts on the ball field. Looks like a good job on the cart.

Add a nice beefy push bumper to the front and it will be even more awesome looking. And your idea of a twin A-arm suspension is a good one.

You did well and should have a lot of fun with it. I'd rather have my cart any day over a new 4 wheeler. But, a true Side By Side is set up more for the tough trails than most carts, even when heavily modified.
