93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild
I found this little guy in a field in Kansas and I am going to try to revive it over the next few years. It should be fun.

Re: 93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild
First thing is to address this mess. Charging the batteries to see if they are worth saving and then I am going to replace the cables.

Check out Dela's thread, he's gone through a lot of changes on his cart.
Might get a few ideas... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/membe...t-journal.html |

Re: 93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild
These old marathon's are work horses of Ezgo's they just keep going and going. They are hard to beat. I have redone several of them. My first cart I bought was a 89 and the thing is still being ran today although it doesn't look nothing like what I had it.
I stripped it down and bed lined the frame and had the body painted with chameleon green paint. I was one of the first lifted carts at the campground that summer. I should have never sold that cart! |

Re: 93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild
That's a good looking cart Andy. I have a pile of parts waiting to get installed. I will be taking mine down to the frame and have it powdered then going to vinyl wrap the body.
