Default 93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild

I found this little guy in a field in Kansas and I am going to try to revive it over the next few years. It should be fun.

First thing is to address this mess. Charging the batteries to see if they are worth saving and then I am going to replace the cables.

Check out Dela's thread, he's gone through a lot of changes on his cart.
Might get a few ideas...

Talking Re: 93 EZGO Marathon rescue and rebuild

These old marathon's are work horses of Ezgo's they just keep going and going. They are hard to beat. I have redone several of them. My first cart I bought was a 89 and the thing is still being ran today although it doesn't look nothing like what I had it.
I stripped it down and bed lined the frame and had the body painted with chameleon green paint. I was one of the first lifted carts at the campground that summer. I should have never sold that cart!

That's a good looking cart Andy. I have a pile of parts waiting to get installed. I will be taking mine down to the frame and have it powdered then going to vinyl wrap the body.
