Default Finally a part of the RXV family

After dealing with a not so favorable builder and poor quality I backed out of the deal and restarted a build supporting a local business. It’s never pays off to go with the cheapest option or at least in my experience.

I took a ride down to Metrolina Carts in Rock Hill, SC and had them spec me a cart and it turned out AMAZING. Ended up being the first to use this special coating over traditional paint. It’s not Line-X but very similar and a more hard plastic feel. Will work out great since I have small kids and we wanted Carolina Panther blue so it was very close.

Anyway, here it is and we are excited to finally have our neighborhood cruiser.

It’s an 14 RXV 48v and opted for Us batteries and some cosmetic appealing mods for curb appeal. You can see the car behind it that shows my passion for modding and racing my personal vehicles.

Nice looking cart. Really like the color. Great choice on the wheels and rear seat also. Now get rid of the yellow charger and order a DPI from ScottyB at cartsunlimited.net and your all set. I'm sure new batteries were part of your build and you want a charger that will take the best care of them as those suckers are expensive. One of my better investments was a DPI.

Yes that will be an upgrade down the line. I actually saved $400 up front as he had some 2017 US Batteries that he tested and used for this build. It was either pay now up front or pay later so I decided to save the $400 and roll with these and hope they last a couple more years or hopefully more since it won't be getting any super long usage. I did GPS test it to 23mph so it was as advertised and we are happy with it. The rear seat was the only major upgrade he recommended since we have 2 small kids, very happy with it all, but the speed in me wants to it keep speeding up haha.

Hi mstrength,

Beautiful cart! I am over in Lake Wylie, SC and going to look at a 08 RXV this weekend. How you liking it thus far?

We love the cart! I was advised to get a 13+ RXV for the better controller. Quite a bit late replying but I wasn't receiving notifications from the site.

Highly recommend going with Metrolina Carts when you make the leap!

That charger is the best one offered by the factory, those QuiQ models aren't so bad as the QE & SC-48. That charger leads me to believe your cart was from a golf course fleet, as those chargers are frequently found on fleet course cars.
